Hey guys! I felt bad that I hadn't been around lately. School finished a few weeks ago for the summer, and I'm beyond happy that I have 4 months to collect myself and focus on band stuff. It's looking like I'm going to go on tour with some of my best friend's and their band at the end of July/beginning of August for a few weeks in southern Ontario, and a few shows in Quebec. I'll be there just for fun, mostly to be with my friends on a road trip, as well as filming it all apparently. I'm super excited! Things with my band are going a little slow. We are working on switching drummers, so we've been figuring that out, but we are trying to get on a show for the beginning of June.

Anywho, I took a picture of the "family", so I thought I'd share it here. Fresh strings on the phoenix, and a new pickguard on the telecaster. They really are my dream combo!

Well would'ja look at that - the Phoenix and the Flames. You know, I get the impression from this site that some form of a Breedlove and a Tele are obligatory music makers. I got the Breedlove part down. Rickenbacker 330-12 count for much?

Those are some awfully playable looking guitars. Have fun on the road.

Nice family pic Keenan. That Phoenix is so polished I can almost see you in the reflection.

Keenan,

That sounds like a great time. I'm sure it will create lots of good, long lasting memories.

Your Phoenix is amazing looking. Will you be taking that with you?

Have a good trip.

Phoenix's are shiny ain't they? Mine needs a setup, may have a touch of backbow. I need to take it to Third Coast for some tweaking. This one got a brand new top that is prettier than the original. I sent it to Breedlove for something, don't recalll what and it arrived with a crack right across the entire bout. Needless to say, it was under "warranty". Got lucky. It is essentially a virgin. I think it has always needed a tweak. We shall see. Like your Feenix Keenalean! Saweet brother. Oh, awesome new pg for the Tele! Love it!

I've always drooled over your phoenix Omega. Love that top, such a great colour.
