A little. I'm not a huge Brazilian fan though. At least not for what it adds to the price. If I was going to drop that much cash on a guitar, it would have to be a Kevin Ryan. He has the whole "old and new" going on in his construction and choices of woods.

It sure is pretty though!

The only "real" Brazilian guitar I have played sounded so good it caused me fits for more than a few months. Now I dream Brazilian. Sure they say dreams aren't in color but mine are quadriphonic and for me that wood would sound fantastic. But then again there is Koa...

I have only played a couple of Br. Rosewood guitars and I have to say I did love the sound of the Martin but for the money I think I would make a different choice. I sure do like the look of the old Br. Rosewood much better than the newer stuff.

I think cocobola or ebony or walnut rivals BRZ. in the looks dep't. As far as sound is concerned I'm quite happy with EIR and remember a Larrivee OM-09 that took my breath away. BRZ is not worth the outrageous price tag (IMO).

I also think any of ffinke's list sound as good or better than any rosewood.
