Passport OM/FS

Post by bfloyd6969 on Mon Mar 14, 2011 6:58 pm

Hello and greetings, everyone. First post here. I am looking at purchasing a like new, used Passport OM/FS but know very little about this guitar. It looks like it is a pre-war type of design (?). Has anyone here played one or own one that can comment on them? I recently bought my daughter a Passport D200/SMP and I really like the feel of its neck profile. Reading from the description on MF, the D200 has a soft V profile. Reading about the OM/FS, it has a shallow C profile. Just how different are these two necks in terms of feel and mass? I appreciate any help you all can give. Thanks!!

I would think Mac knows most about Passports, not sure if anyone here has one or noodled much with one. Mac will most likely check in and let you know soon. Welcome to the forum!

We have two Passports here. They are our everyday "go to" guitar. Know almost nothing about the necks though except they feel good or they wouldn't be our everyday guitar.

Thanks, Tom. I hesitated too long and someone else snatched it up - at a reduced price even!! Dang!
