Dear Doctor

I have always been in love with Tammi Terrell. Is there a cure? (RIP)

I believe the answer is " NO". Once upon a time, I thought saying "Marvin Gaye" required "and Tammi Terrell". RIP, indeed.

Cure? For what? All that is good? This is like asking to "cure" laughter or the spring in our step. No sir, no can do. You are just gonna have to live with it.

Another fine singer, with an arrangement faithful to, yet a viable alternative, to the original; possibly the best "science fiction" song yet written(possibly aside from some of Hawkwind's tunes!) Very Happy
Okay, enough pomposity for now. Sleep

Thanks TB. You said what I wanted to, but with a more discerning tone.

There is a sort of cure just like you get over being in love with someone else and then they die. You never forget them, and you remember them fondly but life goes on while you love their memories but not them directly.

I suspect she is playing on stage with Marvin Gaye playing to a heavenly group of listeners. Play your card right and you and the rest of us may get a ticket to one or more of there upcoming heavenly concerts.

Well that is the way I see it and it could be wrong but I am sticking to is. ragtime man

Chuck, this is a classic. You have outdone yourself. Thanks for the Sunday study-break laugh deluxe. Arrow
Wonder if I would have seen them in December? I think I did. Now that you mention it. Thanks Chuck for that.
