Fresh D'Addario Strings

Wow! Even to these tinnitus afflicted ears the new EXP16s I put on yesterday sound . . . sweet, rich, vibrant, full-tonal, etc. (is there one word that describes the new-strung sound?

This reminds me that I need to change out my strings. I have a Pro D25/SRe with 11's on now. Should I go to 12's? Can anyone comment on a move to 12's and how the guitar will sound? Thanks.

Bodacious?

Hmm, I've never used 11's on anything so I can't relate. I just went from 13's to 12's on one guitar. I think the sound is better and my digits highly approve. Of course, that could be because the 13's were old and tired? Nah...

Don't know...I use 10's for the most part. Extra, extra lights.

I use 12s and really like them. Still can bend them without a great deal of effort and I hear more bass but that is such an individual thing. I have no idea what you would hear.

Try them and see what you think.
