Hello,

Here are some pictures of an American C25/SMYe. We upgraded this one to an LR Baggs Anthem SL. This one has a new home, but I'm getting another in soon, and will post some videos.

Boy that is quite a great looking guitar. How does the LR Baggs Anthem SL sound compared to the regular electronics in this guitar?

Hello.

The Anthem SL combines the Element Active undersaddle ribbon, which is what the factory electronics contain, and adds an internal mic. As such, you get great fidelity, with low feedback. The Element Active is a good system, but I'm a huge fan of the Anthem. We've installed a number in Breedloves and Emerald Guitars. For the first one we installed, my tech commented that it was the best fidelity for an acoustic pickup that he'd ever heard.

I checked this out last night, & I. too, thought it was Quite the looker. Still do, in fact!
Even hunted it up on Mac's site.

Just when I thought I had GAS under control!!! That's cruel.

BTW: What does the Myrtle sound like? Is it similar to Maple or more Mahogany-Like?

Great looking guitar!

ffinke, the myrtle's I've tried, the answer is YES. Actually more maple with some rosewood depth, I guess.
