New to the forum
Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum and relatively new to the planet.
I like the new place, hate the new carpet smell though.
I can provide references to my lack of character if needed.

I can attest to this Man's lack of character. Glad to see you here PR!
Re: New to the forum
I am not sure about the carpet yet, but I am sure about the character of the character. One could characterize it as charismatic. Welcome Mr. Rain.
Re: New to the forum
well, I guess the carpet's all wet now, after the rain, so we may as welll look into new carpet, with a new new carpet smell!
Well come a board, crafty, characterless Mr Rain!

New pup! Meet Jack. Mastiff/lab mix 11 weeks old, 30 pounds. I hope my playing improves fast because I'm gonna need a gold record to afford the dog food soon. Speaking of needing new carpet...

Man you sure called that Omega. Mastiff = mini horse
Dozer's first girlfriend was a next door Neopolitan Mastiff, boy was he sad when they had to find her a new home. They couldn't keep her in the chain link fence. She was so strong she would put her nose under and push through as a pup and then when full grown she pulled a whole section of the fence down just to get over to Dozer. Big as a couch she was. Good luck PR!

Big as a couch is so true. I wouldn't recommend these dogs for an inexperienced dog owner. When he's all finished growing he could weigh as much as a couple hundred pounds.
I hope I'm not compensating for other shortcomings...

Hey PR. He is really cute -- now. Our dog has (hopefully) topped out at about 50 pounds. There's a dog in my neighborhood that is about 160. It's a rott-lab-retriever-pit-mastiff mix. Just plain HUGE! It's very friendly though, which is better than the alternative.

Re: New to the forum
I saw a Bull Mastiff/Boxer mix today. I guessed Newfoundland, as it seemed too small for a mastiff, but too big for a Lab. Had the Mastiff build, but not so jumbo.

Re: New to the forum
I think every morning that I wake up Jack is noticeably larger. He has a great personality. We got him too young so we have been dealing with biting/chewing training but he's coming around. If only my daughter was as willing to be trained. We expect him to outweigh her in another month.
He hates my guitar playing. I guess he's not a blues fan.

I'm new to this forum, too! A lack of character was no handicap in the old forum. Has something changed? Where can I find some of this "character" stuff?

Thanks, gang...glad to be back. On the dog front, Bucky, our English Bull Terrorist is about a year old, but still acts like a puppy. He is kind of a sixty-five pound bowling ball and the grandkids are the pins. What a pain in the butt he is...but the first dog we've owned that I actually like. I don't know why. He has destroyed more stuff than two military moves and a house fire.

Hey guys ... signed on this morning. It looks like I'm the new guy on the block. It's good to be back in touch. And I agree with PR, it does have a "new carpet smell".

Welcome gtrbill. It really is great to see all of you again. I always thought the old Breedlove guitar forum was the best around. A big thank you to all who made this possible again...and especially to Mac for keeping things alive.

Re: New to the forum
Well hello everyone, here's another new guy on the block.
I've been an electric player for longer than I can remember, and gradually got myself set up with decent acoustics - and I'm now "learning to play" all over again. Some of the electric skills are transferable (knowledge of the neck, finger dexterity), but acoustics are completely different animals - and a whole lot of fun and discovery.
I have a really nice 2006 Breedlove Ed Gerhard signature edition (and two Taylors), so I'm a happy camper.
I just discovered this forum a few days ago, and thought I'd just say hello.
Cheers,
Daniel (from Val-des-Monts, Quebec)
