Howdy -

I'm thinking of . . . going nylon. Anyone have experience with any of the Passport models strung with " gut"? or could anyone opine on the PassportC200/SM?

No experience with the guitars you mention but I do enjoy playing classical guitar. I highly recommend giving it a try.

I have one...the N200/CMP...bought it a little over a year ago...nice mellow tone. I ordered mine from MUSICIANSFRIEND.COM. Took it traveling with me last summer. the combo of the cedar top and maple back/sides makes for a nice sound...I've been playing steel string dreads...a long time...and wanted a little tonal change. I also recently purchased an OM/MME...all mahogany OM size...talk about some projection...WHEW

Stayed Steel and went with the only local Passport I could find. D200/SMP at g.c. (apparently a model run made for them). I wanted a concert sized, but I'm very happy with this one. I feel better taking it out of the house and leaving my "calendar girl" safe at home.
