Hung down withe the capo as close to the fret -- or even on it -- as possible. I play a 12, and if I have it too far back it will throw it out of tune from the pressure on the strings. I've tried Shubb, Kyser and G7 capos and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Okay, so how many races have you won lately, Jefe?

I love this thread, it screams of how much illicit substances we have all ingested over the years.

It just keeps "hanging on".
Forever open.

Me and my Schub take our position from the words of the great Tom Dooley: we hang down. And close to the fret to prevent tone from going sharp.

I Capo over the top, It's just a nice one handed way to do it quickly. I play for my Church and use the Capo alot, and you have to be able to put it on and off fast beween songs. Hey Wiley, I also have a G7 at home, to me I need two hands to use it, but I like celtic one. For the price of those they better give you a case for it!

Same here; in the summer, it's just me, so I rely on the capo for full sound(as well as easier arranging). I almost can change quickly enough one handed with my G7.
