Yeah, but my Cascade is well documented online, especially since I advertised it for sale last Winter. When Guitar Center and another store Googled to find the value of a used Cascade, they both came to one of my ads, and realized the one they were offered was mine, so the cops have the info the stores were given, and hope to have at least it back soon. Hopefully that will also lead to locating my other mandolin, DVD recorder, BluRay home Theater, computer monitor, and automobile!

MS, this situation sounds terrible. I feel for you buddy. It sounds like you're able to keep your cool. Hopefully with a little time things will turn up.

I wasn't feeling cool Tuesday afternoon, evening, and night, but I'm much better now.
The Cascade is back home, the sheriff's detective says my auto is in a parking lot somewhere, they just don't know which one, and the girl who was trying to sell my Breed was being questioned all day today, so hopefully more info will come. I'd think a Grand Theft Auto charge, on top of the other thefts and Breaking and Entering, might eventually loosen her tongue a bit.

Automobile recovered today, waiting for a locksmith to re-key it so I can drive it home from the tow company lot.

No word on anything else, yet. The vehicle is kind of filthy, with a bunch of CD's missing, my massage table missing from the back, jumpercables toolkit, etc. gone. Picked it up not quite an hour ago, but I'm having to pay right & left, & hope I get enough receipts to top my deductible so I can get something covered by insurance besides the rental car!
Had a piece of mail from "victim services" today, with forms to fill in, with a name beside "defendant" above mine as "victim".

It's gut wrenching, but tyr and stay positive. They say things happen for a reason.
